Murals are priced individually taking into consideration material and labour costs as well as reflecting the size of the design, the detail of work required, site location and any research required to complete the job.

In general, the daily labour rate can vary between £150-250 per day.

If you are interested in commissioning a mural, we would recommend an initial consultation on site, free of charge,  to discuss your ideas and to see the space we have to work with. We would then produce rough sketches of the proposed mural design until we come up with something you are happy with. Along with the sketches, we would include a quotation to carry out this work. If approved and you decide to proceed with the mural, we would ask for a 40% deposit against the total amount prior to commencement on site. The remaining 60% would be payable upon completion of the mural.

Please note that the above are guidelines only.  If necessary, murals can be tailor-made or adapted to suit a specific budget.

Murals can be painted directly onto wall or furniture surfaces or onto made-to-measure canvas or board. All murals are produced using a mix of acrylic and emulsion paint and are finished in a high quality varnish to enhance the colour and protect from fading.

Contemporary Art

Carsta Creations also produce contemporary art painted in acrylic on high quality Loxley canvas. Paintings can also be produced on board and then framed to a professional standard.
